The farmhouse “Poggio del Sole” is so called
thanks to its sunny position among uncontaminated hills,
sourrounded by cornfields, sunflowerfields, woods and green valleys.

Poggio del Sole is situated near San Gemini,
a medieval village amongst the most colorful of whole Umbria,
which in year 2000 has joined the Slow Food  “Slow Cities” network.

the charming atmosphere which usually characterizes the ancient villages,
but also taking the time to stop and admire the breathtaking landscape
from the top of the hill. While in San Gemini you can
make a walk along the secular park of the spa and taste its mineral water,
admire the ancient beauty of the church of San Giovanni,
the “Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo” and the historical churches
of San Francesco and San Nicolò.
