While staying at the farmhouse Poggio del Sole, besides making
wonderful walks in the countryside, you can play beach-volley and table tennis.
A swimming pool is also available for our guests.

Not far from the resort you will find the right places to practise archery,
clay-pigeon shooting and fishing.

The ancient “Parco della Fonte delle Terme di San Gemini” (the SanGemini spa)
is just 2 miles away from the farmhouse: it is possible to play tennis and golf there.

Poggio del Sole is conventioned with the sporting club “Rafting Umbria”, which,
by the “Centro Rafting & Kayak Fiume Corno” (Corno river Rafting & Kayak centre),
makes it possible both to practise extreme sports like canoeing and kajak
and/or organize more peaceful activities, suited for families.

If one wants to explore the surrounding area, worth visiting are:
the ancient Roman town of Carsulae (2 miles away),
the Foresta fossile di Dunarobba (fossile forest, slightly more than 6 miles),
the breathtaking Cascata delle Marmore (Marmore Falls, about 10 miles),
the pictoresque, small village of Piediluco on the eponymous lake (about 15 miles),
the enchanting Oasi naturalistica di Alviano (Alviano Oasis, almost 22 miles).
